The Puffins are up in the island Akurey
In the middle of April, we saw the first birds on the sea in Faxafloi bay. The birds inhabit the Islands Akurey and Lundey, where they remain until midt of August. They are already up in the island and more and more birds are strolling up to the island each day now. As many as fifteen – twenty thousand pairs are believed to nest on Akurey. In all our Whale Watching tours we sail close to the island and you can have a great photo opportunity of this beautiful birds.
